EB-5 Projects in Idaho have not been around for long. At the Idaho Global Investment Center (IGIC), we know what it takes to help our projects become long-term success stories. We also know how to help our foreign investors get what they are looking for: the ability to live, work, retire, and provide higher education to their children in the United States of America. Currently, we have two projects that are qualified projects for the right foreign, immigrant investor, looking to qualify for an EB-5 Visa.

Project Development

IGIC management works closely with economic development professionals, angel and entrepreneurial groups, government agencies, financial institutions, and universities to foster and develop a large flow of projects.  A “call for projects” is conducted semi-annually.  IGIC commissions work as needed against the nine-industry focus.

Project Screening

IGIC employs an initial screening process to assess potential projects.  Through the Eastern Idaho Entrepreneurial Center’s intern consulting program with Idaho State University and Brigham Young University-Idaho, student interns provide significant project development resources and perform thorough due diligence for IGIC.  The E-Center is a private, non-profit economic development organization utilizing a diverse set of regional resources to provide entrepreneurs and small businesses with exceptional consulting services.

Following the due diligence completion of the E-Center the IGIC Advisory Board will then review and objectively rank the projects for job creation potential.

Project Selection

Ultimately, IGIC management is solely responsible for the selection of the 2-3 projects sponsored for EB-5 investment annually. Most of the projects contemplated by IGIC are in the $1-5 million size range, at least initially.  These projects are marketed abroad individually and also in package form where necessary.
